A 17th-generation musician, Ustad Ghulam Farid Nizami is one of the foremost performers and music instructors from Pakistan. He masterfully presents a vast array of musical styles including Classical Indian, Ghazal, Geet, Qawwali, Bhajan, Pakistani Folk and Sufi music. His principal instruments are Sitar, Vocals, Tabla, and Harmonium.
Join us from 7:30pm – 9:00pm at the sanctuary at the Amala Foundation for a benefit concert for the 6th Annual Global Youth Peace Summit featuring music by Ustad Nizami.
$20 suggested donation. Proceeds will go to fund Naveed Ali, a Pakistani youth, who hopes to travel to the United States for the first time to participate in this year’s Global Youth Peace Summit.
